The story intrigued me, but the reader of An Unkindness of Ghosts really drew me in. The language of this book is especially enjoyable, blending dystopia and science fiction with the lifestyle of the antebellum south. Character names, crops, the political leaders-all so unique and a pleasure to listen to.
