Spill, Simmer, Falter, Wither

Ray shares his thoughts and observations on the people and the things around him with his new companion, ‘One eye’, a dog he recently adopted from the shelter. The narration takes the reader through four seasons and allows us an intimate insight into how Ray and One eye manage to exist in a world that has trouble seeing past their unusual manner and appearance. I found this beautifully written and touched me deeply.
