When Quinn O‘Meara discovers a crying toddler at an isolated accident scene in the Nevada desert she has no choice but to grab him and take the child to the police. But her actions make her a target for a human trafficking ring run by the child’s father. Coincidentally her former foster brother and current homicide detective Nick Saldano is at the precinct when she arrives with the child and gun shot wounds. He’s hell-bent on protecting her the way he couldn’t as a child. This has a couple of women who’ve been through fire and come out strong—in many ways saving themselves—with supportive friends and family.
