Most will recognize Steve Harvey as a celebrity stand-up comedian and the host of The Family Feud Game Show. He also does a television talk show and is the host of a syndicated morning radio program. However, Harvey hasn’t always been so successful. His path included dropping out of college and homelessness.

Harvey’s central message is that every human being has a God-given gift. The challenge is to discover your unique gift and to use it to enrich your life and to be of service to others. I usually don’t read business oriented self-help books, but this one is different. Harvey has a broad definition of success. (Maybe this is why it is cataloged under personal improvement instead of business management in the Dewey Decimal System.) Yes, it includes tips for charting one’s success in a career. However, the inspiration that he provides will also be helpful for readers who are interested in being “successful” and more balanced in many facets of life, including relationships, family life, health, and spirituality.
