Buried Beneath the Baobab Tree

This is a moving and beautiful story of the life in a small Nigerian town and the plans a young girl has to go to college on a scholarship until boko haram invades the town and kills the men and enslaves the women and children.  I read this book in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down.  It is a timely story and it shows you what life is like in a part of the world most of won't ever get to visit.
