Midnight at the Bright Ideas Bookstore

Lydia has spent her adult life on the edges of community. Never too close to anyone, she enjoys her work in a book shop in Denver-the customers with money to spend and many without. The homeless, the vagrant, those on the run--many find comfort in the books and employees at The Bright Ideas. One night, after closing, Lydia hears strange sounds and discovers one of her regular customers dead by suicide. In his pocket he has a photo from her childhood--one of her last happy memories.
