Life is a Joke: 100 Life Lessons (with punch lines)

An old lady is watching her grandchild playing on the beach when a huge wave suddenly comes in and sweeps him out to sea. Frantic, she falls down on her knees and pleads, "Please God, save my only grandson." Suddenly, another wave comes in and delivers the boy back onto the beach, good as new. The old lady looks up to heaven and says: "He had a hat."

When I first picked up this book, I skimmed it just for laughs, and certainly found them!  But each of the 100 classic jokes in this little book are introduced with well -known quotes, and are followed by "Life Lessons" and "Beyond the Punch Line."
