Redbird Christmas

Fannie Flagg delivers another great pick for someone who likes character driven books.  This starts out with a curmudgeonly gentleman that thinks he is in the last months of  his life.  He subsequently learns what good things life can hold and what friends can mean along the way.  The characters are all quirky and have delightful one liners throughout the book.  She always does a great job of describing the towns as well and making you feel like you are there and this is no exception.  This is a very quick and delightful read that will give you a smile and uplifting story for the holidays.
