Waltz of the Snowflakes

A little girl has to get dressed up on a dreary day for an outing with her grandmother to the theater but her mood and the world transform as the curtains rise. This is a beautiful, essentially wordless, picture book and Mackay’s layered illustrations are gorgeous.
