Mac Dre was an underground MC from the Bay Area.  While he did receive much mainstream attention while he was alive he is now hailed as a pioneer of the Bay Area sound and inventor of the since popularized "Hyphy" sound.  This album is definitely a classic Hyphy showpiece which means it is filled with great beats and witty lyrics with more of a party attitude.  If you are interested in Hip hop that can get you and your speakers moving look no further.
