The Guns Above

Laugh out loud snark and sass (+ airships!!) make this a fun fantasy adventure. Josette Dupre, the first female airship captain of the Aerial Signal Corps, is having a rough go of it. She's smart enough to know that no one is happy with her promotion, she's been given the new “top of the line” ship (read as “untested deathtrap”), and the General has planted his nephew onboard as a spy to pass on her mistakes. But a war's a war and she's quite effective as a captain. I'm definitely looking for more of these.
