Doctor Who: 12 Doctors, 12 Stories

This is a fun compilation of the 11 stories created in the lead up to Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary, plus a new story featuring the 12th Doctor. Authors include: Holly Black, Neil Gaiman, Charlie Higson, Patrick Ness and Eoin Colfer, just to name a few. I really enjoyed Charlie Higson’s take on the 4th Doctor—including Leela and a deadly tree—and Alex Scarrow’s take on the 9th Doctor set around the time of the modern debut episode "Rose". And, did I mention Neil Gaiman and Holly Black? (11th and 12th respectively!)
