The Red Pyramid

I am a huge Rick Riordan fan, so when my family went on a long road trip I had to share my love with this audio book.  It follows the Kanes, Sadie and Carter, through their journey to save the world from the reemergence of the Egyptian gods into our world.  This book was beautifully read by Kevin R. Free and Katherine Kellgren.  It really felt like two teenage siblings were telling their story right to you.  Their voices were full of emotion, and their characterizations of other characters were fun and evocative.  Both my husband and my tween son loved every minute, and we are all looking forward to listening to the rest of Riordan's books on audio.
