Breaking News: Bear Alert

A young boy watches from the comfort of his living room as the host of the television show, Furry Planet, inadvertently awakens two hibernating bears from their sleep.  The bears flee into the city where they unwittingly terrify many residents.  Their harmless yet bumbling rampage is caught on camera and reported to viewers via a local breaking news telecast.   In the end, the bears become heroes by accidently subduing two cat burglars that are wanted by the police.

I really like the illustrations in this book.  The bears are adorable!
