Twelve Reasons to Die: the Brown Tape

This album was initially a bonus cassette when the original Twelve Reasons to Die was released, but demand was so great it was soon released in other formats.  It consists of remixes of the original album by Detroit producer Apollo Brown and his sample heavy boom-bap style of production.  The result is a perfect mesh of styles both lyrically and musically, and offers a great variation from the original album which featured music from Adrian Younge and his band Venice Dawn.
