The Library at Mount Char

Carolyn and her eleven siblings used to be normal children, until they are adopted by a cruel, mysterious man and taken to his Library. Each mastered one of the twelve catalogs of knowledge, giving them powers from speaking with animals to knowing the future to resurrecting the dead. When their Father disappears and the twelve are thrown out of the Library, they end up having to work together to figure out how to stop this enemy’s grab for power. If only they knew who that enemy was.

This is a dark, contemporary fantasy about how far one is willing to go for power and the cost of finally reaching one’s goal.
