Fela Kutithe pioneer of the afrobeat style is known for his outspoken politics and his musical genius.  This concert recorded at the Fox Theater showcases the jazzier side of Fela's style.  The four songs on this 3 disc set involve long danceable jams that show case the melodic explorations of Fela and his group the Egypt 80.  World music fans should definitely give this a listen.
