Slow Regard of Silent Things

I’m not sure you can read this as a standalone without having read at least The Name of the Wind, the first book in Patrick Rothfuss’ Kingkiller Chronicles—which is fine because you should really read that book—but when you’re ready, this poignant glimpse into Auri’s life below the University calls out to the quirks and differences in every one of us. It’s a beautiful and bittersweet vignette!
