This is my favorite title in the Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place series since the first: The Mysterious Howling.
Penelope takes the children along to her alma mater, the Swanburne Academy for Poor Bright Females. More is revealed about the Ashton family curse, and clues give regarding Penelope's parentage. Suspense is mixed with plenty of funny wordplay, and lessons in iambic pentameter won't disappoint. The only disappointment is having to wait yet again for another book.
