Time Without Consequence

Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Alexi Murdoch caught my attention when the second track from this album, “Breathe” was featured in a TV show, so I tracked down the album and found that I recognized a number of the songs—turns out it was one of the most licensed albums of the last decade. But I really enjoyed the mellow indie rock album—heavy on acoustic guitar with bass and the occasional cello. Stand out tracks for me include “All My Days,” “Breathe,” and “Dream About Flying.” Fans of Elliott Smith or Glen Hansard might find something here to love.
