Siblings Wisty and Whit Allgood think they are typical American teenagers. But they soon realize how wrong they are when the New Order police come to their home in the middle of the night to arrest them for being a witch and a wizard.

With the help of other wanted teens, Whit and Wisty are able to escape prison and become part of a team that work to free other kids imprisoned under the New Order. The Allgoods soon discover that they are part of a prophecy and that the New Order will not stop until they catch them.
