Rhoda possesses her trademark humor in this follow up book to Mennonite in a Little Black Dress (Mari G.'s review). And let me say, her trademark, tongue in cheek, sometimes snarky, sometimes self-deprecating humor is no small thing. She has progressed in this book, though, with a bit more grace, maturity, and self-awareness. And a new manly man, Pentecostal boyfriend… and cancer. Can’t forget either of those. Much to talk about and ruminate on here.
