Hours

15 hours per week. Will include nights and weekends.

Capital Area District Libraries (CADL) provides library services to our local communities seven days per week. All positions except those in the Administrative Offices will require some evening and weekend hours, including Sundays. While this position is currently assigned at the above location, CADL reserves the right to require all employees to be available for assignments at any CADL location.

Salary

$16.24 per hour

Nature of Work

Under the supervision of a Library Head or Public Services Head, provides excellent, friendly and user centered services to community members. Provides readers advisory services, plans and organizes library programs both inside and outside of the library and assists patrons in basic technology support and troubleshooting of digital services and resources. Assists at the circulation, information and children’s public services points.

Education & Experience

Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree.

This is an entry-level classification; no specific prior experience is required.

Experience working in a public library is preferred.
