The Lansing Makers Network pass covers one adult's LMN Open Hours Membership for one month. Access all the amazing tools, technology, and knowledge while you try out your maker skills. Note that you'll need to complete the member signup process, receive an orientation, and have an ID card issued on your first visit.

  • The first time you visit LMN, you’ll need to complete the member signup process, receive an orientation, and have an ID card issued. (This process usually takes 30-45 minutes.)
  • Once you have your ID card, you’ll need to check in when you visit the space by presenting BOTH your Group Pass and your LMN ID card.
  • Many of the tools require a checkout class be completed prior to using them. You can post a message on to request to schedule a checkout class for a tool. (Checkout classes are generally free for members and pass holders, thought there may be some exceptions.)
  • Be sure to visit for current hours and to check the holiday schedules.
  • LMN reserves the right to not honor a group pass at any time.

Loan Period and Fines

This item's loan period is one month. Due date will be given at checkout.

General Policies

This item is available for check out to CADL cardholders age 18 and older. Borrowers must sign the required Library of Things Agreement acknowledging financial responsibility for lost or damaged equipment.

Due to COVID-19 we are only circulating:

  • Chromebook Kits
  • iPad Kits
  • Bus Passes
  • Zoo Passes

The rest of our LOT items are not circulating at this time. 

Items with the location "Library of Things - temporarily not circulating" may still show as available in our catalog. This allows holds to still be placed and will enable CADL to slowly roll out items based on ease of sanitation.
