UPDATE

As of Monday, April 24 the Foster branch has reopened to the public. Updates include the installation of new shelving and carpet, as well as new paint and a refurbished fireplace.

DSC_0074 USE.JPGAn upcoming remodeling project is scheduled to take place at CADL Foster and will consist of several cosmetic updates, including installing new shelving, replacing the carpet and repainting the walls. This remodeling project will cause the branch to be closed to the public from March 27-April 23. The reopening date is scheduled for Monday, April 24 at 10 a.m.

What does this mean for patrons who frequent CADL Foster? This means you’ll have to change your hold pickup location prior to the branch closing by signing into your account on our website. CADL Foster will no longer be available as a hold pickup location beginning Monday, March 13.

Some services will continue to be offered during the closure, including storytimes. The branch’s Baby Storytime, Family Storytime and Toddler Storytime events will take place upstairs in Foster Labs. Additionally, the drop box will remain open for returned items throughout the duration of the closure.

Luckily, there are two CADL branches in the surrounding area that patrons can visit during the closure. The nearby branches are CADL Downtown Lansing and CADL South Lansing. There’s also CADL Okemos, which is the closest branch that offers curbside pickup services.

We appreciate the community’s patience during this closure. We will keep you updated on the progress of the remodeling project, including any delays, via our social media pages and website.
