After a graduation party gone wrong, Aria West is sent to stay with her grandmother for the summer, famous artist Joan West. Put to work helping her grandmother sort through her deceased grandfather’s astronomy lectures, Aria is also introduced to the local queer scene through her grandmother’s gardener, Steph. Caught between what she knew and what she is discovering, her dreams of a science career and her need to create art, Aria’s summer becomes one she will never forget.
