I want to suck your...book?

I grew up watching and reading everything with my brother and at a young age I was introduced to Dracula and vampires. This book is a twist on vampires except these people eat books. They consume the stories which then reside in their heads (if I could eat some of my college textbooks to get the information, I might have had better grades!) The scary part of this: some book eaters don't eat books (no spoilers). Most of all, this story is about the love of a mother for her child and how preservation of a dying people can do more damage than good. The audiobook is read by Katie Erich, who, just like Devon (protagonist) is from northern England, adding to the richness of this story. This is a wonderful, suspenseful, horrific, dramatic, emotion-filled story that will keep you wanting more.
