Grand musical numbers and Barbra Streisand.

This film was just the second Barbra Streisand had starred in and she carries it well. The dance numbers, costumes and staging are all lavish and spectacular. Directed by Gene Kelly, this matchmaker movie may remind you of Wall-E, as some of the tunes were used in that film. This classic musical is a pick-me-up with its familiar tunes and it's moments of tongue-in-cheek comedy. The highlight for me was Louis Armstrong’s performance.
