An amazing atmospheric instrumental tour de force.

David Axelrod was given carte blanche by Capitol records to create an experimental rock fusion album inspired by the popularity of the Sargent Pepper album.  The resulting Songs of Innocence drew inspiration form the poetry of William Blake.  It is an amazing mash up of Rock, Funk, Classical, and Jazz.   It is truly an unique and captivating album that still sounds amazing and fresh today.
