In a society controlled by a strictly regulated potion, Grey, like her father and grandfather, can survive without her ration, making her a danger to the State. This was a slow starter for me, but Denmark's intense and fascinating worlds drew me in. The in-depth world-building of not one but two unique settings and peoples was impressive, and I hope to find out this is a series starter. I'm so curious to hear more of the story.
