A Bit of Fry & Laurie

If you are a fan of Hugh Laurie in House, M.D., A Bit of Fry & Laurie could be your cup of tea.

Before Laurie hit it big in the U.S. as the curmudgeonly Dr. House he was known in the U.K. as a comedic actor who also partnered with Stephen Fry in the classic British comedies, the Blackadder series, and Jeeves and Wooster. A Bit of Fry and Laurie, a T.V. series from the mid-1990s, is British comedy in its purest form--short sketches of person-in-the-street interviews with a parade of improbable characters; too polite bureaucrats going to ridiculous lengths to avoid embarrassment; and bombastic, upper crust types who don’t know how foolish they look. A Bit of Fry & Laurie may have you guffawing or scratching your head in puzzlement, but either way you will experience two of the U.K.’s best comedians.
