The Buccaneers

Based on the Edith Wharton book of the same name, this miniseries -- originally aired on the BBC -- follows a group of nouveau riche American heiresses who move to London in search of adventure and aristocratic husbands. Desiring social status more than love (or so they think), the women attract their fair share of attention from admirers and critics alike.
