Monsters

Can a deep, touching romance be found in a slow moving, Sci-Fi flick with alien monsters from another planet?  Indeed, you doubters!  A deeper look into the human condition than many horror and Sci-Fi offerings, Monsters is a surprisingly refreshing take on the tried and true and sometimes trite alien invasion.  The movie unfolds at an intimate, personal pace and has the feel of an Indie production without the "shot in your backyard" quality.  Combining military mishaps, governmental issues, family, freedom and alien life forms might seem a precarious proposition, but the result will have you rooting for a sequel.
