Student Success Initiative Scholarship

Our SSI Scholarship provides two graduating high school seniors in participating SSI schools with a $1,000 scholarship to use toward college and vocational-school related expenses. The annual SSI scholarships are generously funded by the Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) and Kroger Community Rewards donations.

After thorough deliberation, the scholarship review committee has chosen Dante Munger of Okemos High School, and Olivia Quiroga of Holt High School, as the recipients of the 2024 Student Success Initiative Scholarship.

- Applicant is a high school senior graduating in 2024.
- Applicant has a 2.5 or higher grade-point average at the time the application is submitted.
- Applicant used their Student Success Initiative account at least once in the last year. Use of other types of CADL cards does not count towards the scholarship requirements.
- Applicant must be planning to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational school in the fall after high school graduation.
