This is a great book for environmentally conscious readers who enjoy the horror genre! This collection of short stories follows characters navigating the very real horrors of environmental degradation and climate change, with the occasional tree monster thrown in for good measure. What I appreciated most about this book is that it encourages the reader to reflect on the damages that humans are inflicting upon the earth's ecosystems while also providing beautiful settings and riveting stories.
