Lily and Dunkin

Lily is a transgender girl and Duncan is a boy diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Lily and Duncan strike up an unlikely friendship while dealing with some strong issues. They both face difficult choices in their daily lives. Will their friendship survive? I admired Lily's strength and what she did to survive and withstand pressure she received both in school and at home.  And I struggled with Duncan as he tried to fit in at a new school. Highly recommend.
