This epistolary novel is an intimate dive into the lives and careers of Daisy Jones, Billy Dunne, their bandmates, and other people close to them told in a series of published interviews. Though Daisy Jones and the Six is a band of entirely fictional characters, you can’t help but get invested into their all-too-real stories and immerse yourself into the world of the 70’s music scene. It’s no wonder that Reid’s excellent writing got turned into an Amazon series recently, with a complementary original album, AURORA, to match on music streaming platforms, including hoopla! I can’t recommend this book strongly enough!
