The Queer Principles of Kit Webb

A cute, historical romcom caper!

This book is everything you want out of a landlocked-yet-somehow-swashbuckling heist story, but with the added benefits of light (yet very enthralling for reasons) brawling, many descriptions of fashionable clothing, and even a quaint coffee shop. It checked all those boxes of what I loved when reading highwaymen romances when I was younger, but felt modern, fresh, light-but-not-shallow, and fun. I would recommend to folks who are nostalgic for heist stories, those who love that couple where one is dressed to the nines and the other is scruffy yet undeniably appealing in their own right, or for those who like watching two people bait each other within an inch of their lives (but clearly love every second of it).
