Lynnette Tarkington is a Final Girl - a person who survives a serial killer and, sometimes, is the killer of the serial killer. For over ten years she has been meeting with other Final Girls and their therapist to help these women get their lives back. But when one Final Girl doesn't show up to the meeting, Lynnette is left questioning her own sanity. Is there truly a conspiracy where a killer is trying to kill her group-mates? Or has she finally gone into the deep end of her anxiety and paranoia?

I am not a horror person - self-defined chicken about anything even remotely scary. But, I cannot stop reading books by Grady Hendrix! In the last two years, I have read all of his novels and a couple of his shorter works. He blends pop culture references seamlessly in with heart-racing chase scenes.
