Devil's Daughter

Come for the romance, stay for the estate management.

Perhaps this is not the way to convince many people to read this novel, but I cannot be the only person out there who finds discussions of estate management and tenant farming in 1870s England to be fascinating! I don't even mean that as a negative, Kleypas' writing made land management THAT interesting! 

Don't get me wrong, I also adored reading about the main characters falling in love and working together to merge their families and responsibilities. I actually began this book completely unimpressed with the male lead as a romantic hero and ended it convinced that he was perfect. All in all, a great read for new and returning Kleypas fans!
