Rex Ogle does an amazing job of bringing to stark life his experience of navigating poverty, abuse, food insecurity, racism, and the digital divide during such a pivotal period of his adolescence. This title really opened my eyes to the anger and shame - and adult responsibility - kids in these situations are made to feel for things so outside of their control. I highly recommend for tween, teen and adult readers!
