Romance, murder, and family drama, all in an idyllic summer setting.
The Weekenders was a fun read. It had an interesting array of characters and was a page turner, yet never got too deep. I enjoyed the break and pretended like I was reading this on the beach with an icy summer drink in my hand. This was the first book I have read by Mary Kay Andrew but it won’t be the last.
