Kate Granger returns to her hometown on the shores of the “Great Lake” after her marriage breaks up.  She wants nothing more than to rest and heal while staying with her cousin Simon in the family mansion that he and his partner have converted into a bed-and-breakfast.  But when Kate discovers the body of an unidentified dead woman washed up on the lakeshore – the same woman who has been haunting her dreams – she becomes involved in a web of mystery and suspense that is anything but restful.
