One Hundred Nights of Hero

In the vein of Scheherazade, Hero must distract the wicked suitor of her true love, Cherry, for 100 nights to save her virtue and good name, so each night she tells the stories of the League of Secret Storytellers, sidetracking not just the suitor but all of the estates guards. The stories within a story are at once wonderfully familiar and original and the whole book ties together beautifully. The artwork has a feel of folk art which only add to Greenberg’s play on myths and folktales. This is wonderfully done!
