Goon

Goon is an independent film that captures the charm of Paul Newman's Classic, Slap Shot, but updates it for the 21st century.  The dark comedy about an ordinary guy who is recruited to a minor league hockey team after getting into a fight at a hockey game.  With no skating skill, Doug Glatt becomes one of the most feared enforces in the league and improves his off ice life at the same time.  Goon has quickly and quietly become a cult classic in it's own right.
