I am Princess X

This is one of my favorite books I’ve read this year! A combination of prose and graphic novel, this book focuses on the friendship between May and Libby, the mystery of Libby’s disappearance, and features a super creepy villain in the shadows.

 

Best friends since kindergarten, Libby and May have spent years creating stories around their character Princess X - Libby draws the pictures and May writes the stories. After Libby’s death, May gives up on their stories until she finds a new webcomic detailing the continuing adventures of Princess X. Convinced that Libby is still alive and trying to send her a message, May begins unraveling the mystery of Princess X.
