Strong new characters, to go with her already well-developed Cynster and Bastion Club cast make this a fun addition to her works. I’m looking forward to the next title The Elusive Bride. Recommended for Laurens fans in particular but fans of Christina Dodd's historicals, Liz Carlyle, and Suzanne Enoch as well.
