Overview

Welcome to Research & Learn! Whether your goals are educational, professional or personal interest, our valuable tools and resources can help you achieve them.

These resources are organized into two categories—Learn a New Skill and Research Tools & Guides.

Learn a New Skill focuses on broad, goal-based learning opportunities for all ages, such as career advancement, language learning or reading readiness. You’ll find resources for Adults, School age children and Preschoolers. The “Premium Resources” on these pages are subscription services that offer up-to-date, authoritative and high-quality content, provided through CADL or the Michigan eLibrary (MeL). “Other Resources” include a variety of useful web-based tools curated by our staff, plus resources you will find at our branches, including workshops and events.

Research Tools & Guides is a carefully selected list of online information and tools in a wide number of subjects, such as Automotive, Genealogy and Homework Help. Click here to see the full list of topics.
