(Ages 14-Adult). “Despite Everything, It’s Still You” is a reminder that the bad will pass and that the good is still worth fighting for. The Despite Everything tour answers that call: featuring select local poets: Masaki Takahashi (Lansing Poet Laureate 2022-2024), Claire Donohoe (co-host of The Poetry Room) and Truth the Poet (from Flint, MI) together with national touring poet RJ Walker, who travels with a typewriter to write poems for anyone who needs them.
