Water Night

Wow. I heard Eric Whitacre interviewed on the radio about his virtual choir project. That is cool. So I looked up his latest CD and gave it a listen. Double wow. The symphonic "Equus" and "The River Cam" are mesmerizing, and the choral works are ethereal. I love his texts--from Goodnight, Moon (yes, that Goodnight, Moon) to poets Charles Anthony Silvestri and Octavio Paz to the King James Bible. His liner notes also make the music accessible.
